so i said i was done here but i couldn't resist a swan song. spent the whole of yesterday compiling a comprehensive hitlist for visitors to stockholm. call it delusions of grandeur if you will but it's a selection of places in the city that i want to share with friends. also, it wouldn't have been possible without my blatant piracy of A's namecard collection (such a brilliant idea!) and J's kind contribution of nightspots and upmarket eateries. it was challenging fitting every place to a budget / occasion so i didn't :) but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that a restaurant with two michelin stars would make for an expensive lunch and even more exorbitant dinner. greatest care has been taken to ensure that the telephone numbers and addresses listed are correct but i was going cross-eyed after google translating every single url because i know as well as you do that svenska is sweden's best kept secret.
that said, it was one final traipse down memory lane, revisiting my (now) old stomping ground and favourite haunts. if you're in stockholm / headed to stockholm / plain curious, email me and i'll send you the lists! happy to pass them on :)
