him: OH NO NO NO i didn't know you wrote it! it's great!
(insert bigger gasp)
him: i'm reading it now! i don't understand it though! but it's great! so talented you are!
me: i didn't write it...
him: tcuh. i thought you did.
me: NO! how can you not know???
him: it's poetry.
me: YOU WON THE LITERATURE PRIZE IN RI. TWICE.
him: yeah but it was about books.
