you will see more that way.'
but it was only 10am and a little too early to car surf, IMHO. thus i politely declined and said we'd save car surfing for when the boys were in school, so as not to set a bad example.
took me awhile to realise that she meant for me to ride shotgun. M got it straight away though and was in stitches as she insisted that i rode on top as i even more resolutely said no :)
spent a lazy sunday driving around paris and seeing her architectural wonders. typical november weather i.e. wet and windy but i love blustery anyway so no complaints. we went to isle st. louis and wandered around the narrow streets before going to the notre dame. yummy lunch (steak tartare) and the most divine berthillon sorbet for dessert. back home for a siesta break before braving the throngs of tourist along champs elyseeƩs. had the best millefeuille ever at fouquet and then chanced upon the LV store where i happened to fall in lust with a bag. how predictable. but i thought about my, um, incredibly financial obligation back home and decided to be prudent. for tonight, at least. i do have 3 more days here...
sushi dinner because i have indulgent hosts and it's an early night because we are going to laduree for breakfast bright and early tomorrow morning :) this is wayyy healthy living because i sleep early and wake early and it is partially because they have young children who need to sleep and i am already so ingratiated to them that i don't want to impose any further.
fouquet.. hahaha cracks me up.
